POSITIVE ENRICHMENT SERIES
The Positive Enrichment Series (PES) was launched in 2022 in response to the overpopulation crisis in our animal shelters. In this program, over 25 dogs living in animal shelters receive daily training and enrichment by our team of professional dog trainers and behavior consultants and trained adult volunteers.
Volunteers develop advanced dog handling experience and behavior observation knowledge. The PES model also serves to prepare our volunteers with confidence and a broader range of skills to assist youth as volunteer mentors in the PYDS model while serves 2-3X the number of dogs!

Program dogs receive 18+ hours of foundational behaviors & targeted training

Adult volunteers participate in daily hands on, one-on-one dog training including an intensive orientation on dog body language handling, safety & behavior.
