IN MAKING A DIFFERENCE
November, 29 is Giving Tuesday, and we're raising our paws up for change as we strive to enrich the lives of youth from under-resourced communities and shelter dogs. Together we can create opportunities for kids to develop skills and tools to become self-confident and empathic adults while helping homeless dogs find loving homes.
We invite you to join us this season of giving either by volunteering, donating, or by being a voice that shares our mission. Thank you for being an essential part of K9Youth Alliance and inspiring change in our communities.
K9 Youth Alliance In The News
ABC7 recently featured us and our long-term program partner, Boys & Girls Club Pasadena, in their Solutions segment.
Watch as our co-founder and Executive Director, Kelly Osburn, highlights the importance of our training programs and our dual mission to enrich the lives of both kids and shelter dogs.
We are a group of people who are passionate about enhancing opportunities for youth and giving homeless dogs the chance they deserve to live a happy life.
WHAT OUR STUDENTS HAVE TO SAY
ARLINE & ROSE
Rose taught me not to judge a book by its cover because when someone first sees a pit bull they think they are big and scary. But not Rose, she’s sweet, calm and gentle.
IVAN & ARCHER
K9 Youth Alliance has given me the opportunity to learn more...every session I learned something I never knew before. My favorite session was teaching Archer to go through the tunnel. I loved seeing him go through successfully.
DANIELLE & PERCEY
I liked how me and Percy formed a tight bond and I really love him. I would recommend this program to a friend because all the dogs are nice and you form a very strong bond with everyone.
